RICE TOUR

Rice is one of the prominent crops grown in the Sacramento Valley. This tour gets you out on the ground, in the fields and gaining a better understanding of how rice is grown, harvested, processed and packaged. You will also learn about the conservation efforts that have been integrated into the farming operations.

FARM TOUR

This "whole-farm" tour highlights the diversity of farming throughout the Sacramento Valley. Learn about row crops, orchards, water rights and conservation. This tour is amendable to your personal interests in the farming industry.

BIRD TOUR

 Are you a birder?  Come check out our seasonal floodplains as well as the native riparian habitats! This private tour gives you access to some excellent and private birding.  If you are a new birder or a "posh" birder we are happy to encourage you to come an learn about the species in your "backyard."

HABITAT TOUR

With our emphasis on habitat integration, we have been able to help build and establish some very successful projects.  Come see our native hedgerows, Giant Garter Snake habitat, shorebird & waterfowl habitat, and permanent wetlands.  This tour will highlight the many great partnerships we have built with the common goal of sustainable restoration.
